Pls take note.. i have organised that on the 23 of Dec (Monday), we will be having our drama reunion.. Location and timing the same as last time. This is a pot luck session, u guys bring food from home or buy willingly from your own pocket money. But pls make sure it can last the whole day and something that everyone eats, so sayang if the food goes to waste.

Raya Outing

Hey guys.. As u may know, Raya is arrving in 2 weeks time.. so, im taking this opportunity to plan the proposal for the Hari Raya outing.

So this is my plan, before school reopens on 13 October.. I have decided to put aside 10,11 12 Oct for our Raya outing.

Update of Drama outing and picnic...

As u guys knw, there will be a reunion for our drama peeps this June..
i have confirm that it will be held at EAST COAST PARK... at 10 a.m (but u can come later)
Venue same place like the previous trip.
it will be pot luck.. but will still bring BBQ pit in case anyone wants to heat up their food..
But for the day and date, i've yet to confirm coz some can't go on the weekdays and some cn't go on the weekends.. but it will definitely be on our 2nd week of holidays.

Bring balls, frisbees and if u can bring in ur PS3.. haha joking..
Anyways, i will think of something that we can do and play. there will be wet games there(doesnt require to enter the sea) so just in case bring extra clothes.

One request, Aby has driving license and if u guys want her to drive (especially those who are bringing in heavy stuff) pls sms her and get ready the money so that we can rent a van or a lorry.
The cost each one will fork out depends on how many people are agreeable and depends on Aby as well. For more info on the driving thing contact Aby.

One more request, anyone who wants to taunt overnight pls let ur parents knw becoz there will be no adults on-site and it is each and everyone's responsibility for each others' safety.. so think carefully ya..
I will try to ask Aby to send our friends home near to home.. if not, ask her to send us to the nearest MRT station. i will just try to ask her la..

Well, this is a reunion for our ex-drama members and for all the existing members currently doing the musical training. This is Aby's idea and i juz wanna speak for her yah..

Clear your doubts and anger

If you are pissed and angry for not getting through the auditions,

I would like to say that the decision of being part of the cast is made by Tony.
To pass the through the audition is to have to pass (according to order)
1) Singing
2) Acting
3) Dancing

This musical majorly requires alot of singing.

If you are still pissed and angry, you can request to join in as a Stage crew as we require about 40 members of crew. There might be another audition for next intake which most of you can try to come and try again. There so work hard and improve for the next audition.

AUDITION
Venue : ITE Simei
Day : 16th Febuary (Saturday)
Time : 9 am - 12pm (DANCE) - 1pm - 4pm (Acting/Vocals) - Compulsory to attend BOTH
Attire : SnW attire or any comfortable tops that is not tight and revealing
Use back our previous production fishermen's pants (black/white)
Preperations :
- WARM UP before you come for audition
- Dont forget any lyrics if you are going to sing
- Have loads of rests before you come for audition
- Dont eat too much in morning as you are going to dance
Others :
All selected casts & crew have to be committed to at least 150 hours of rehearsals (inclusive of bump-in and full dress rehearsals)

Time: 1.30pm - 7pm (leave school at 11am)
Venue and time to meet: 1245pm @ Bukit Panjang Plaza
Things to bring: White plain blouse/shirt (w/o sch logo), navy pants/skirt, black/white/sports shoes.

Why need to bring extra clothes? Because the wardrobe the sponsor gave might not fit us as they gave not according to our sizes.

Dinner will be provided.

Saturday's shooting will start from 9am and end at 6pm. Lunch will be provided.

Time: 1.30pm - 8pm (for Mon and Fri), 9am - 6pm (Sat)

So it has been changed to only 3 days of filming. But don't worry, we will only be needed for a short period of time. So I don't think we have to stay till the stated time.

Details of the Ngee Ann poly film shooting & dinner gathering

Hey guys!

The storyline of the scene that we are going to do is in a classroom. An Ah Beng is dating a teacher and he's helping her to take over her class for sometime. We will be acting as the Ah Beng's classmates.

So far here's the info I got from the production crew.

Shooting period and time: 14th Jan - 20th Jan (TBC again)
Scene: Classroom
Set venue: Assumption English School
Wardrobe: School uniform of the stated school.

The crew needs to rent out the uniform for the scene. Which is why I asked you all for your uniform sizes.

Now, for more details, I'll post it up here as soon as I get new info. I'm also trying to get an excuse letter for all of us to cover our absence.

Drama Reunion after holidays

Hey guys! Ratna here.

I know most of you all are busy with work or even outside activities. Well, as you all may know, school is opening soon for 2008.

Since the holidays, not most of us are keeping in touch of each other, though some do.

This is actually Hasna's idea if I'm not mistaken. There will be a drama gathering on the first week of school reopens on the Friday, where all of us will meet up to have dinner together.

I'm looking forward for everyone's presence on that day. Time and venue of the gathering will be confirmed again. I will post it up when I get more info.

I know that most of you are curious and want to know of the sudden cancellation of the camp.

1) There are not much Funding from ITE for us to carry out the camp.
2) Mr Lim Pang Kwee has approved the camp but prefers it to done in 2008.
3) It is the holiday season

If anyone feels that the following reasons are not good enough, come and just e-mail me at Daen_Hype@hotmail.com.

I would like to state that to organize a camp with another organization is not easy. Seeking for funds is also not easy, I have to make my face to be as thick as 2 layers of concreate. Having to wait for an answer from the right people take a LONG TIME. My schedule and the other organization's schedules are very tight. I hope there is some sense of understanding in you for this is not like secondary school stuffs where anything just go to your teacher. Well here in a tertiary level, there are certain revenues that is needed to follow and also a sense of Professionalism is needed to have your client to approve your stuffs. To that person who notes itself on the tag board anonymously, i hope your questions are answered. If you are still not happy, just e-mail me and do not fire on our holy tag board which is the place for us CeMTA Drama members to reconcile and be connected again as a family.

a joint organized event by ITE CeMTA Drama Group & Ngee Ann Poly Stage Factor. Postponed to Febuary 2008.

Due to unforseen circumstances there is a need to push the camp to a later date and also due to the festive season.

Hey all! Ratna here. 3 things coming up this December...

First:

There will be an All-Drama girls Day Out on Friday, 21th December. We'll be playing pool at Far East and then hang out together. The timing is around noon, but I'll confirm with you girls again. Don't worry.

The reason I organize this outing is because although our drama production for 2007 is over, it does not end here. We can still hang out and do stuff together like we used to when our drama production was still on. I would like to take this opportunity to catch up with each other and simply just have fun together!

Second:

I want to invite you all, CeMTA Drama Club, to my house on next Thursday, which is on the 20th December. Since it is Hari Raya Haji on that day, I'll be having an open house.

For those who are coming, please contact me by Wednesday, 19th December. I'll pass you the details on how to reach to my house through SMS.

Third:

I know some of you may have heard this before. But might as well I write here.

Yes, there will be an outing during this holidays to Escape Theme Park after Hari Raya Haji.
Date and time are yet to be confirmed.

Guys, Ratna here. I wanna tell you guys about an update for this Sat's outing.

Bring;
$3 (for entrance fee to Sentosa)
Drinks (preferred 1.5 litres, for those whose are going to overnight)
Snacks
Tents (if have, same gender will be sleeping on the same tent. So no mixing around)
Extra clothes and toiletries - there will be wet games during the outing.

However, as for the food, there will be some bringing it. You all can bring more if you want.

Next, I want everyone to CONFIRM their attendence for this Saturday, so that I can coordinate everything. Confirm with me by tomorrow night!

TIME FLIES

I can't believe time flies very fast.

Here I am typing this and thinking about those memories. My my my. Time sure do flies very fast.

I'll definitely miss those memories as it has been sweet and memorable.

The good and bad, whatever it is - They will always be remembered.

It's nice getting to know one another and I didn't regret the decision to join drama. Furthermore, it's the passion, not for anything else.

Hmm... Though I didn't make a speech the other time, it doesn't mean I'm emotionless about the whole thing or anything like that. I guess it's not that easy for me to cry out.

However, I do feel like crying but seems like something is holding me back I guess. Mixed emotions? Probably. I am simply speechless but definitely not emotionless. *grins*

Well... Life still has to go on but come on... It may be the end of our exciting journey but look on the brighter side - WE'LL ALWAYS BE FRIENDS no matter what.

Keep in touch, stay in contact - As they say friends are friends forever as the welcome will not end.

WELL... I'M SIMPLY SPEECHLESS. Anyway, THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL THE GOOD TIMES!~

I am sooo gonna miss all of you... Especially those who are not in Simei ITE... I hope one of us would bang into each other some day. I still could not get my mind off the days we met. It's nice getting to know all of you... I've never had such ppl like you guys before... You guys are special in my life.

I wished that day would never be gone. I wished that there will be no tomorrow where we will go in our separate ways. I wished that we could be reunited once more. I wished I could capture every second of our happiness as a Drama Family 2007. ya... I randomly came up with that... lol...

HELLO THERE!

Diane here. My my my. ONE MORE WEEK TO THE BIG OPENING DAY!!

Gosh. Time definitely flies very fast. Indeed it's SUPER FAST!

24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Sometimes I wish there was more time. I'm really very nervous about next week. Hopefully we put on a good show. I have confidence in our play. I believe all of us are able to put on a good show and entertain others.

However, we have to prove ourselves that!

3PM TO 8PM FOR TODAY'S SESSION. I know it's a bit too late to put it up here. I'm in school by the way!

Anyway, TUESDAY our final session! If I am not wrong it'll be after 6PM till about 9PM.

I'm somehow am looking forward to our play. The reason why I say "somehow" is because I'm feeling kind of nervous. Yes - The "WHAT IF" question comes to my mind.

Let us make it a success and not disappoint others.

Oh yes, another problem I am facing! I don't know if any of you are facing the same situation as me or not. That problem is... I HAVEN'T SOLD ANY TICKETS YET!

How horrible. I tried asking but my friends seems either not interested or they're busy with stuff. Well? It can be frustrating but well... What am I supposed to do? I can't be like threatening them right? That isn't right. I hope you all are not doing such things! ARE YOU?

Anyway... I'm off now.

Hello again! It's finally updated!

Yes, it has been quite inactive for about a month or two. Apologies to all!

ANYONE who has anything to voice out or anything related to drama - PLEASE FEEL FREE TO UPDATE!

Hopefully, we'll be able to memorise our lines and make it happening! Like they say - "Hop, Hip, Cool and Happening!"

Oh yes, anyone has any suggestions to organise an outing? If yes, please let us know.

Frankly speaking, I don't regret for joining Drama. In fact, you people are fun people and I hope that will continue. I'm really pleased to have nice people around.

As you know, fun comes with a price. Before we can have fun, we need to give our best. We need to work hard.

However, if we work as a group, as a team or whatever you wish to call it, we'll enjoy it more and not think that it is a torture or anything like that.

Definitely, you'll feel tensed, stress and pressure. I guess that would change after the production. I guess you may even miss it and wish you could go back to the past and do it again as those memories are wonderful ones.

I guess it's a natural thing. We're just going through a phase.

As we all know, we are all human. I believe each of us are unique in our own ways. I believe if you work hard, you'll earn your reward.

Before I go, I would like to remind you to...

+ Memorise your lines (Yes, I myself am trying hard to memorise too.)

+ Should you have any suggestions on an outing - Please voice out

+ ALWAYS KEEP THE COMMITTEE LEADERS INFORMED IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING OR WILL BE LATE. ( Please tell us in advanced, if not please inform Mr Lim. )

+ Most importantly, PLEASE TRY TO COME. Every session from now on are very important. WE NEED YOU - We need each other to make this production a hit.

Hey there everyone!

Guess who is blogging at the moment?

Club treasurer (DIANE)!

I felt that this blog has been inactive for quite awhile. I have been thinking of trying to update it lately. However,I'm not able to do so as I'm quite busy with school and at times I forget about it.

Ok,I'm doing my part now to help keeping this blog active.

Well,I'm pleased to inform you that there's a tagboard in our blog now! I hope you people will also like the banner that I designed. (Pardon me if it's not fantastic. Mind you - I'm an Info-Comm student! Not a design student.)

I had this idea but I don't know if you people would agree with me. I was thinking of having this section whereby - It links to our club members personal blogs. How's that idea? Agree? Disagree? Leave your comments at the tagboard.

Sorry DRAMANITES.. i couldn't attend drama this friday coz i have some camp for the Bridge Leaders. Sofie and I can't go..
Well , i hope that Drama will still go on w/o the both of us. I am very committed to this cca. That is why i did this blog for all of us. I hope u guys can be as enthusiastic and me coz in anything that we do, we muz do it at 100%.
Well, send Tony and the gang well wishes while i am gone for camp later..
